Thrashers 4 - Capitals 3: Brought to You by the Number...

Thats how many seconds it took for Atlanta to take control of the game. The Caps had a two goal lead in the second period. But in 3 minutes and 7 seconds, the Thrashers scored three goals to take the lead.

Granted, Dainus Zubrus did score at the end of the second to tie the game, but the damage had been done. It completely deflates a team when you lose a lead that quickly. You could see it in the third. Olie let in a bad goal, the Caps were twirling in their zone, gliding, unable to get quality chances. If this team wants to get better, they must learn to play with more consistency.
